Sinomax is a multinational home furnishings company. Sinomax partnered with us to create a national advertising campaign for their Hong Kong market, that focused on the Sinomax Empower Mattress. One of the main differentiators for this product, is a coating on the materials that allows it to disperse heat more effectively. The concept for this commercial is a culmination of demographic research by Sinomax in their core market, and the backbone is the spokesmodel, Moses Chan, who is famous in Hong Kong for his coffee brand and cafe’s. Restoration was a key word that focused on throughout the campaign and integral to their branding of this mattress series.
Production for this piece took place in Hong Kong, so our team worked overtime to adapt to the 13 hour time zone difference, language barrier and logistics of another country. We worked with translators and a local Hong Kong producer to ensure that the script was portraying the mood and tone that was written in English, which presented some challenges.
The commercial plugged into a full digital campaign, and all assets for print, radio, photo, TV and web.
